About Michael Judd
Michael Judd is a technology and strategy expert that has over 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 executives from a variety of industries. His past clients include American Express, Aon, HCSC, Providian, Raytheon, Washington Mutual, and Zurich Insurance. He is known for bringing strong strategic, financial, and operational skills to develop disruptive technology strategies that make sense for his clients. He is a CPA with a strong reputation for collaboration and global experience, he tackles the largest challenges, transforming how people and their processes engage with technology to drive business value.
Michael was CEO of Originate, a concept to commercialization software development business owned by private equity firm, Pacific Growth Investors until 2022. He previously served as COO and CEO of Vatom Inc Systems, where he helped define the digital objects space and the roll out of programmable, interactive objects on the Ethereum blockchain. In 2017, Renowned author, entrepreneur and X-Prize founder, Peter Diamandis, called our technology the “interface moment” for blockchain.
He also was Vice President in global commercial accounts at CSC, where he led many diverse technology teams over 14 years and negotiated more than $500 million in service contracts. In his last assignment, he led all functions of a $175 million operating group.
Prior to joining CSC, he worked for Bear Stearns Companies as an investment banking associate. He worked in the San Francisco office as a member of the technology practice and evaluated merger and acquisition candidates.
While he earned his Master of Business Administration, Michael worked as a business development manager for Strategic Data Corp (SDC). In this role he reviewed, pitched and negotiated partnership agreements. He also helped to rebuild their interactive technology offer for banner ad optimization.
He started his career at Deloitte and Touche as an auditor in their San Jose, California office where he was exposed to various technology clients and industries that ranged from software development to semi-conductor manufacturing.
Michael earned an MBA in business strategy and finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a BS degree in Accountancy from Brigham Young University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Michael and his wife, Lisa, live in Laguna Niguel, California with their four daughters.
